Program Details

This two-week long program gives oppotunity for young musicians to experience and perform chamber music and orchestra. This program offers chamber ensemble coach,sectional, and orchestra rehearsal.  Along with concerts and master classes. The program also offers private lesson as an option.

          When:         Program dates: June 16 through June 29, 2008
                                             Audition date: Saturday, May 31, 2008.
          Where:        Bethesda, MD  (Washington DC-Metro area)
          Who:           College-age
                             Talented High School Students
          Costs:          Application fee: $40.
                             Program cost (tuition):
                                             With Private Lesson: $750
                                             Without Private Lesson: $600
                             Other costs include but are not limited to: Food, Travel, Housing, etc.
          Housing:     Will not be provided by the festival, information/help available upon request.
                             Preference will be given to students who do not need housing assistance.      
          Aid:             Limited scholarship and financial aid is available. 
                             Apply early for best consideration.

Sample Day's Schedule
         

          9:00 pm - Warm-up and Check-in
          9:30 pm - Chamber Music Rehearsal
          10:30 pm - Orchestra Sectional Rehearsal
          12:00 noon - Lunch (Not provided) & Free Time
          1:00 pm - Orchestra Rehearsal
          3:30 pm - Master Class/Chamber Music Rehearsal
          Each individual schedule will be different depending on participation.
